Boundary Brook Nature Park
Sage supports the Oxford Urban Wildlife Group as a focus for practical conservation work. Activities include helping maintain Boundary Brook Nature Park, which involves wildflower planting, bramble cutting, wildlife watching, pond dipping, allotment weeding, hay cutting and much more. We sometimes help run their stall and sell plants at open days such as at Boundary Brook Holywell Cemetery and Elder Stubbs Festival. We help carry out surveys of local urban wildlife areas made available to county records database. The Oxford Urban Wildlife Group also has links with other city wildlife groups and is involved with a number of local schools and produces a quarterly newsletter.
Here we document a few previous Sage work parties at Boundary Brook to give an idea of the range of activities we carry out there.
