Please find enclosed a pdf drawing of the proposals for Averil's house. This hopefully shows the scope of the works and demonstrates the aims of the project which have been descibed in Averil's own article. At the risk of repeating what Averil has written, this project has afforded us the opportunity, through researching the most sustainable, efficient water and energy technologies and environmentally friendly materials, to develop a package of modifications that can be applied to the 'ordinary' existing home. We are lucky in that Averil has taken a particularly uncompromising approach to what is possible and, though all the modifications shown may not be applicable in every circumstance, they do show the options available to the average concerned house owner. It is hoped that through measuments and records, the impact of the alterations on the energy efficiency of the house, can be documented.
