As you can see most of the major work has now been completed on the house. There is still quite a bit of decoration to do, and the garden needs landscaping. But the one major feature that was not there yet was the wind turbine which was intended to be placed on the roof.

In May 2008 Averil had changed her plans- "Although planning permission was granted for a wind turbine, more recent research has revealed that small ones in an urban setting are very inefficient so that plan was abandoned."
