Resources
Over the fifteen years Sage has been about we have produced quite a number of resources for our mailing list, small groups and churches. We have uploaded some of them here:
1) BIBLE STUDIES. We wrote a series of six Bible Studies on environmental themes in the early 1990's. These have been revised (and a seventh has been added!) and are now available on this site- have a look! In 2006, Jennifer Brown, Curate of St. Clement's, Oxford, kindly provided us with a series of three studies- go to Brown Studies. NEW in 2007, a set of studies entitled Caring for Creation to accompany the book "Christianity, Climate Change and Sustainable Living"
2) We also put up editions of our regular newsletter "Sage Words". If you would like to subscribe to the "Sage Words" printed version, or to join our email list to be notified when a new edition is uploaded, go to Contact Us.
3) Several Sage members are involved in a two year Certificate course in Christian Rural & Environmental Studies (CRES), and we provide more details of this important development.
4) Martin & Margot Hodson from Sage took part in a one-day workshop on Saturday 17th January 2004 at Redcliffe College, Gloucester. "Christian perspectives on issues in the global environment" was organised by The John Ray Initiative (JRI). The resources from the Hodson's talks are available at Christian perspectives on issues in the global environment.
5) See Margot Hodson's JRI briefing Environmental Christianity: insights from our Jewish heritage (you will need Acrobat reader installed to view this link).
6) The Eco-column articles in the Diocese of Oxford newspaper, The Door, are well worth reading.
7) Jennifer Brown, Curate of St. Clement's, Oxford, has kindly provided us with guidelines for an Experiencing creation prayer walk Try it!
8) The Place of Environmental Theology: A guide for seminaries, colleges and universities (2007). A new book edited by John Weaver and Margot R. Hodson and published jointly by the Whitley Trust, UK and the International Baptist Theological Seminary (IBTS), Prague, Czech Republic.
9)
Cherishing the Earth. How to care for God's Creation  a book by Sage members Martin & Margot Hodson. This now includes a set of six Bible Studies to accompany the book.
